What is the difference between UML and BPMN?
UML (Unified Modeling Language) describes software systems — classes, sequences, states, use cases. BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) describes business processes — workflows, decisions, responsibilities. Both notations complement each other: UML for the system view, BPMN for the process view.
Do I need prior knowledge for the modelling trainings?
A basic understanding of software development or business processes is helpful but not a formal prerequisite. Our trainings start with the fundamentals and build up systematically.
Are the trainings tool-independent?
Yes. We teach the notation and the underlying concepts — not a specific tool. The techniques learned can be applied in any UML or BPMN-capable tool (Enterprise Architect, Camunda, Signavio, draw.io, etc.).
